This website is to support indie and small press authors only. We are open to any genre, but know that there may be some genres that don’t make it to a review just because the subject matter doesn’t interest us. Carmen enjoys science fiction/fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal romance, steampunk, and crime. Julie enjoys middle grade, YA/NA, romance, historical, dystopian, mysteries, and thrillers. If your genre falls out of those categories, we encourage you to still send it in. It may surprise us.

What we won’t review:

-Books published prior to the past 2 years

-Erotica, poetry, short stories, picture books, graphic novels, screenplays, non-fiction

-Books from authors who currently have an agent

To submit a published book for consideration, paste the first three chapters in the body of an email to amazingbooksynho @ gmail.com (all one word). Please include your book title and genre in the subject line. We will try our best to review within 4 weeks of receiving. If interested, we’ll contact you by email for a .pdf or .mobi file of the entire book.

Please know that if your book is not accepted by our team, it is not to say your book is terrible. It just means that it doesn’t reach the “amazing” standard of this particular site. Never give up writing. Never give up on your dreams.
